A wonderful and Impressive Royal Coat of Arms wall plaque made from wood and gesso (paint).
The plague shows the royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom which incorporates a Lion and a Unicorn.
The Lion represents courage and strength and the Unicorn symbolises purity and grace.
The plaque bears the motto 'Dieu et mon droit' (God and my right).
I believe it is an early piece, it is in beautiful condition and has been hidden away for many years as I acquired it in a very dusty state.  Lovely piece of history.
There is a fixture set within the wood so it is ready to hang.
