This can only be described as a reclining gentleman wearing blue striped shorts in a white and gold jacket over a flowery waistcoat, blue tie and wearing black boots.  He is reading a book whist holding a guitar! on a day bed.
 
Circa 1890. no damage on this lovely bright flatback obviously paint missing on areas but what great condition for its age.
