A wonderful pair of male and female Chinese guardian lions also known as Foo Dogs.

Made entirely from a natural green stone which has been polished smooth in areas, light and dark greens make up the statues with black speckled mineral deposits running throughout.

Each lion has been sculpted in a protective pose with their wide eyes, styled manes and open mouths  containing a loose stone ball inside. 

The dogs are both sitting on a carved square plinth which is styled in geometric patterns.

The base has a L carved into the stone.

Each lion has a paw raised -

Male  - right front paw symbolising power and dominance

Female - left front paw representing nature and protection 

Height - 20 cms

Width - 10 cms

Weight - 3lbs

Styled as bookends, positioned each end of a console table or next to each other on display they will look eye catching in your home, highly decorative and in wonderful undamaged condition.
