1970s, Italian heavy ceramic based in white gloss, these are candle holders depicting a man and woman both on horseback wearing hats in disguise.
From Italy, the Puglia region they are known as  Pupi or Cavalieri (horseback) candle holders.
They are in fantastic condition they have large handles that resemble octopus suckers.
The woman is semi naked, The man has an incredible moustache. The horses are beautifully adorned. These would suit a long console/table with or without the candles, and placed together or at each end to make an outstanding interior feature in your home.
